07 Aug His Kingdom Rising in Us
What causes His light to be at home in me? What colors my heart and mind to be like His? What sensitizes me to the current of His will moving powerfully through all things to accomplish what He is working out? What causes me to lay my head down at night richly content with the way He has led me that day?
Wanting what God wants causes me to resonate with Him so that I sense His call . There is a Way, where all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. It is a wilderness path leading us through magnificent, heart-stirring beauty. Wanting what God wants keeps our feet upon that path.. “Not my will but thine be done,” was always the cry of Jesus’ soul, keeping his feet upon The Way.
Wanting what God wants sensitizes us to God’s call , because it cuts against the flesh that warps our hearing. Nothing that we do apart from what He wills will stand for long., but what He calls into being will stand forever. .God’s purpose according to His choice stands, not because of works, but because of Him who calls… So then it does not depend on the man who wills or the man who runs, but on God…. (Romans 9:11,16)
We have been taught that if we will something hard enough, picturing it in our minds, it will manifest. If God has put it into our minds, it is His power through us bringing it to pass. If it is something we covet apart from Him, it is sorcery. Sorcery is a: self-motivated counterfeit of our collaboration with God. Sorcery is real, enabling us to hold something in our minds to bring to pass temporarily; But it is what we will, not what He wills, And it will not stand. It will end in disappointment. Truly I say to you, whatever you shall bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you shall loose on the earth shall have been loosed in heaven. .(Matthew 18:18 Berean Literal Bible) Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.. (John 5:19 NKJV)
His kingdom rising in us is the communion of our soul with God, it is the essence of our collaboration with Him. Holding His purpose in our minds, wanting what He wants, we will manifest His will in a hostile hurting world.
We will speak to a mountain and it will be removed into the sea. . But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven… Matthew 5:44-45: Jesus called his enemies hypocrites and white washed tombs. But as they crucified him, he moved that mountain into the sea, asking His Father to forgive them, “because they know not what they do.” He never forgot that his human enemies were victims of the spiritual realm He had come to vanquish.
When we want what God wants, it will cost us, but it will become His kingdom rising in us, The Way that vanquishes fallen realms .
